Hi, Love Muffin!

Somewhere along the way, many of us became incredibly busy… but quietly disconnected. Our calendars filled up, our responsibilities grew, and real, meaningful friendship somehow became harder to find in the middle of everyday life.
This weekend was created because I believe we still deeply need one another. We need spaces to laugh again, to exhale, to have conversations that go beyond surface level, and to be reminded that connection in midlife can still be beautiful, rich, and life-giving.
My hope for this gathering is simple: that you arrive exactly as you are and leave feeling lighter, more rested, deeply encouraged, and connected to women who feel like kindred spirits. That somewhere between the beach walks, shared meals, late conversations, and laughter, you remember that it’s never too late to find your people.

xoxo, Dawn

This getaway is for the woman in her second half of life who misses real connection. The kind where conversations go deeper than surface level, laughter comes easily, and you leave feeling lighter than when you arrived.

She’s done with pressure, performance, and pretending she’s “fine” when what she really craves is meaningful friendship, rest, joy, and women who simply get it.

This experience is for women who want connection without drama, meaningful conversation without exhaustion, and beautiful moments that feel both fun and deeply grounding. Think beach walks, slow mornings, shared meals, belly laughs, heartfelt conversations, and space to exhale.

Most women will arrive on their own, many not knowing a single person — and that’s part of the beauty of it. This weekend was intentionally created to feel welcoming, relaxed, and easy from the very beginning.

Whether you come with a friend or completely alone, this weekend invites you into something rare in midlife: genuine connection, relaxed luxury, and the reminder that it’s never too late to find your people.

Who is the GETAWAY for?

Our days begin slowly and intentionally, with coffee conversations, relaxed breakfasts, beach walks, and quiet moments to ease into the morning at your own pace. Some women may start the day with a bike ride through 30A, a walk along the water, or time by the pool, while others may linger over coffee with new friends before gathering for thoughtful conversations and sessions centered around friendship, connection, and this season of life. Nothing about the weekend is rushed or overly scheduled. There is space to breathe here.
Afternoons are designed for both connection and freedom, whether that means exploring the charm of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, shopping local boutiques, enjoying the private beach club, resting poolside, or simply sitting with women who somehow already feel familiar. Throughout the weekend, we’ll gather for meaningful conversations, shared meals, laughter-filled evenings, and the kind of moments that become your favorite memories long after you return home.
One evening, we’ll gather for a private beach bonfire under the stars — a relaxed, beautiful night filled with connection, conversation, music, and laughter by the water. By the end of the weekend, our hope is that you leave feeling rested, lighter, deeply encouraged, and reminded that meaningful friendship and genuine connection are still very much possible in midlife.

A Peek at the Getaway

our beautiful accommodations!

Our accommodations at Camp Creek Inn offer an elevated coastal experience with beautifully appointed guest rooms, luxury linens, spacious marble bathrooms, and thoughtful details designed to make your stay feel effortless and relaxing. Guests will enjoy nightly turndown service, access to resort-style pools and amenities, and the quiet sophistication that makes Camp Creek Inn feel both refined and deeply comfortable. Paired with exclusive access to the Watersound Club private beach club experience, every detail of the weekend is designed to help you slow down, feel cared for, and fully settle into the beauty of the coast.

The women you’ll meet here are the kind of women who make you exhale a little. Warm, welcoming, funny, thoughtful, emotionally mature, and genuinely interested in meaningful connection — not competition or surface-level conversation. They are women who have lived a little, learned a lot, and still believe friendship matters deeply. Women who love deep conversations but also appreciate a good margarita, cozy pajamas, beach walks, beautiful dinners, and being in bed at a reasonable hour. Some will arrive with friends, many will come alone, but all are craving the same thing: authentic connection, laughter, and women who simply get it.

The kind of women you’ll likely still be texting long after the weekend ends.

30A has a very relaxed, elevated coastal feel, so think comfortable, effortless, and beachy rather than overly dressy. The overall vibe of the weekend is polished but easy — beautiful without trying too hard.

For our opening evening on Sunday, we’ll likely lean a little more “coastal cute” — breezy dresses, linen sets, white jeans, cute sandals, or anything that feels relaxed yet put together for dinner and gathering together for the first time.

The rest of the getaway is intentionally casual and comfortable.

Think:
Activewear for walks, bike rides, or slow mornings
Swimsuits and coverups for the pool or beach club
Casual daytime outfits for shopping and exploring 30A
Light sweaters or layers for evenings by the beach
Cozy lounge clothes or pajamas for late-night conversations and downtime
And yes… somewhere between “cute coastal” and “I’m definitely ordering dessert” is probably the sweet spot.

Most importantly, wear what makes you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself. This weekend is not about impressing anyone — it’s about relaxing, connecting, laughing, and enjoying the experience.

April is one of the most beautiful times of year on Florida’s 30A coast. Days are typically warm, sunny, and breezy, with average daytime temperatures in the mid-70s and cooler evenings in the upper 50s to low 60s.

You can expect the kind of weather that’s perfect for beach walks, bike rides, outdoor dinners, pool time, and relaxed afternoons by the water. While spring weather is usually gorgeous this time of year, we do recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket for evenings near the beach.
