Hi, Love Muffin!

In 2025, I found myself again on the slopes. Somewhere between the cold air, the movement, and the quiet beauty of the mountains, I felt alive in a way I hadn’t in a long time. It reminded me that joy isn’t behind us. It’s still available, still waiting, often in places that invite us to be fully present.

This ski week was created because I want that feeling for you too. Space to breathe. To move. To laugh. And to form meaningful connections with women who feel like kindred spirits. My hope is that you arrive exactly as you are and leave lighter, clearer, and with a few new friendships that stay with you long after the snow melts.

xoxo, Dawn

This retreat is for the woman in her second half of life who knows there’s more.
More laughter. More presence. More feeling fully alive in her body and her days. She’s done performing, over-scheduling, and proving. She’s not trying to become someone new - she’s remembering who she is. This experience is for women who want meaningful connection without small talk, adventure without pressure, and space to breathe again. Whether you ski every chance you get or prefer the fireplace, the spa, and slow village mornings, this trip meets you where you are and invites you back to yourself - rested, energized, and deeply alive.

Who is the retreat for?

Our mornings begin in two different rhythms, both unhurried in their own way. Skiers rise early, not out of pressure but out of anticipation, easing into the day with coffee before heading out for lessons or a full morning on the mountain. Non-skiers enjoy a slower start, lingering over breakfast and coffee by the fire before choosing from a menu of relaxed winter experiences such as spa appointments, village wandering, tubing, scenic gondola rides, snowmobiling, or simply staying cozy fireside with a good book. There is no pressure to keep pace here. The week is designed to honor how you want to move through your days.

Each afternoon becomes our daily touchpoint, when everyone comes back together for drinks, cookies, s’mores, and fireside conversation. It is the heartbeat of the week, a place to laugh, swap stories, and reconnect before the evening unfolds. Evenings remain flexible and low-key, with dinner on your own, early nights, or lingering chats by the fire until our final night. We close the week together with a signature experience, a sleigh ride up the mountain to Beano’s Cabin, followed by a cozy, candlelit farewell dinner and a moment to pause, reflect, and mark the season you are in. You will leave rested, connected, and deeply alive.

A Peek at the Ski Trip

our beautiful accommodations!

We’ll be calling the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa home, and whether you ski or not, this place gets it. Yes, it’s legendary for true ski-in/ski-out access, but it’s just as perfect if your version of a great day includes cozy fireside mornings, spa time, village strolls, hot chocolate breaks, and long, unrushed conversations. The rooms are warm and beautiful, the common spaces are made for lingering, and everything you need is right outside the door, no shuttles, no stress, no feeling left out. Skiers come and go from the slopes, non-skiers settle in and savor the day, and everyone meets back up for that relaxed, “this is exactly where I’m supposed to be” kind of afternoon. It’s luxury without pressure—and the perfect backdrop for rest, connection, and a little mountain magic.

Getting to Beaver Creek is easier than you might think—and the views alone make the journey part of the fun.

The closest airport is Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), just about 30 minutes from Beaver Creek. This is the most seamless option, with direct flights available seasonally from major cities like Dallas, Denver, Atlanta, and Chicago.

You can also fly into Denver International Airport (DEN), which is about a 2.5–3 hour scenic drive through the mountains. It’s a beautiful route and a great option if you prefer more flight choices or lower fares.

Once you arrive, we’ll take care of the rest—airport transfers are included, so all you have to do is sit back, relax, and start soaking in the mountain air.

We recommend booking your flights through Kasey Bodine, who is coordinating all travel arrangements and airport transfers for our group. She’ll make sure everything flows seamlessly from takeoff to arrival. (and she will probably save you money)

We recommend arriving in Beaver Creek on January 10th by mid-afternoon so you have time to get settled, freshen up, and ease into the mountain pace before our Welcome Gathering at 6:00 PM.
This gives you a relaxed arrival, a smooth transfer from the airport, and plenty of time to unpack, grab a warm drink, and meet the women who are about to become your favorite part of the trip.

For skiing or snow adventures:
Ski jacket and pants (waterproof and warm)
Base layers (thermal tops and bottoms)
Ski socks (2–3 pairs)
Gloves or mittens
Goggles or sunglasses
For après, dinners, and relaxing:
Cozy sweaters, pullovers, or cute layers
Leggings or jeans
Boots or stylish snow shoes with good traction
A  our sleigh ride dinner is not dressy, sweater and pants are fine.
Lounge or pajama set for mornings and nights at the hotel
Don’t forget:
Swimsuit (for the hot tubs and spa)
Sunscreen + lip balm (the sun is strong in the mountains)
Crossbody bag or small backpack

Any personal medications or must-have toiletries

If you’re skiing, you can also rent skis, boots, and helmets locally - we’ll share easy rental options before the trip so you don’t have to travel with bulky gear.
